Cedar plains desert skye

Foaled April 25, 2006; Here's another pretty, long legged silver bay Ice Man baby. This big moving gelding has an absolutely super personality--very much a people horse. Pictured above at age 2, and yes, fed a little too well!
Cedar plains first edition

"Scooter" is a 2003 AMHR colt, the first Miniature foal born on our farm. We got off to a good start with this one! He's got correct conformation, refinement, a wonderful temperament and COLOR--he is a palomino blanket appaloosa. He is sired by Silver Plate White Lightning and out of our pintaloosa mare, Jandt's Flaming Lace, so he carries the blood of Buckeroo, Boone's Little Midnight Special, Jandt's Dashing Dots and more! Here is Scooter showing that little boys can have big movement too--he's fat & fuzzy here at the age of 2 1/2, but he still knows how to trot!
cedar plains final impression
(JEM Ice Man x RX Sherry)
Foaled 2009; this pretty chestnut gelding is one of our prettiest Miniatures, and maybe one of the nicest movers.
cedar plains dark legacy

Foaled May 1, 2006; Here's another black Ice Man foal and we couldn't be more pleased with this fellow. He is pretty and correct, and he can MOVE!
cedar plains heart of gold
AKA "Casper"

Little Casper is just the sweetest little fellow, and like all of Sherry's foals, Casper can TROT! We expect him to mature at 36". Casper is the one and only offspring of JEM A Touch of Class.
jem a touch of class
Foaled May 26, 2007; We have to say thank you to Mary Ann of Bartkewich Miniatures for letting us purchase this pretty golden boy! He's a mover--with Lightning as his sire and Fem (Jandt's Chief Good Thunder x Kernal's Dusky by Iowa's Little Kernal) as his dam, he's bred to be a big moving boy. He's also bred to be a show horse; Fem has quite a show record of her own, and Lightning put that show horse attitude on so many of his foals. Classy is no exception!
cedar plains rustic red robin

Foaled May 28, 2005; AMHR chestnut. This pretty fellow has long, long legs and a great big trot.
cedar plains fine n' dandy

Foaled June 18, 2005; AMHR red chesnut, 37". Dandy is a nice bright red chestnut with a big star and short connected strip. He's been a real people horse from the very beginning. Thumbnail on the left is of Dandy on his first day; the one on the right is at the age of 1 week. Top photo is at 3 1/2 years. This boy is another fancy trotting horse!
scarlet's little sun

Sunny" is a 2001 AMHR silver bay 36.5" gelding. This showy gelding has very fancy movement and a real look-at-me attitude. Sunny is sired by Jandt's Chief Good Thunder and out of Scarlet of Bayes' Alpaca Ranch. He carries the blood of Komokos Bay Rum, Komokos Little Husseler, Landry's Fairy Farmer, Tattoo, and Joe Jandt's bred-down Arabian line.
lucky hart's black licorice

"Dusty" was one of our first two Miniatures. This 35" gelding has such a personality, and he's become very attached to us. He was shown once, in 2002, and after winning his age class went on to be named Champion Miniature at the 2002 Souris Fair. He's our little chore horse, pulling the manure sled in the winter time. He also helps move hay bales or whatever else we may need moved in the yard.
jem storm cloud

"Cloudy" is a 34" AMHR son of Jandt's Chief Good Thunder and out of our roadster mare, Timie's Wonder Babe. Cloudy is as cute as they come, and he's a real going concern. He's got the big trot that GT so often puts on his foals. Cloudy was shown once as a yearling; he took first in his junior halter class, and then was named Reserve Champion Miniature at the 2002 Souris Fair.
cedar plains evening smoke

Foaled July 4th, 2005; Here's another lovely Ice Man baby--a black colt this time! Top photo is at 20 hours old; bottom photo is at 5 weeks of age. Smoke is a very correct, pretty, up headed colt who thinks very highly of himself. You can't see it in these photos, but this colt can MOVE. He absolutely flows over the ground!
jem silverado

This 2002 AMHR silver dapple is going to mature around 33". He is out of our good mare, RX Sherry, and sired by Jandt's Chief Good Thunder. "Silver" has personality plus. He's very nicely built with that nice level topline that Sherry puts on her foals. He's a real cute mover too, with a style all his own.
jem storm warning

Stormy is a 2002 AMHR sabino roan that measures 34.75". He is sired by Jandt's Chief Good Thunder and out of the Boone's Little Andy daughter, Bonnet's Little Ponytail. Stormy is such a pretty little guy, with the sweetest personality.
