Lucky Hart's Kathleen

(click on thumbnail to see larger view--use your back button to return)

This pretty little AMHR mare's pedigree is full of Komokos breeding.  Her sire is a grandson of Komoko's Teenie Jeanie, dam of Komokos Little King Supreme and Little King's Buck Echo.  Kathy's foals are all small, pretty and show quality.  Her '03 filly, Buckeroo Charmer was exported to Germany as a weanling.  Kathy gave us an absolutely lovely little colt in June '05--see Cedar Plains Fine'n'Dandy on our Geldings page--and in '06 she produced the elegant silver bay filly Cedar Plains Irish Mist.

Scarlet of Bayes Alpaca Ranch

Scarlet  is a gorgeous silver bay; she’s so upheaded, with great big dark eyes, and she is one of our nicest bodied mares.  She’s got a nice smooth topline, and a good strong hindquarter on her; she’s probably got  the best hip & stifle of any Mini we’ve seen.    Scarlet's '05 foal by Silver Plate White Lightning is a nice leggy buckskin filly--check out Cedar Plains Special Request below--and we are extremely pleased with her '06 colt by Ice Man, Cedar Plains Desert Skye.

Lucky Hart's A Little Faith

This 35” AMHR mare has become a farm favorite! Faith gave us a lovely red chestnut colt  by Lucky C Farms Robby in May '05--see Cedar Plains Rustic Red Robin on our Geldings page.   Faith is an absolutely lovely mover, and as agile as can be.  SOLD! Congratulations to  Bartkewich Miniatures!

 Jandt's Flaming Lace

This pretty blue eyed, flaxen chestnut mare is sired by the medicine hat overo, 4G’s HF Mr. Personality.  Her dam is Jandt’s Peppy Peanut, who carries the breeding of Choco’s Little Specks Red Boy and of the loud leopard Appaloosa, Jandt’s Dashing Dots.   Peppy Peanut is a granddaughter of the pretty little European mare, Jandt’s Tonka Joy of Owatonna.  Flame has the bald face of the overo & some appaloosa mottling over her back & croup.  This mare is ultra-refined & so correct.  She proved she can throw appaloosa coloring when she produced Cedar Plains First Edition, the first Miniature foal born on our farm.  “Scooter” is a very pretty little palomino blanket appaloosa.  Check out Flame's '05 filly, Cedar Plains Best Kept Secret, on our Mare's page.  SOLD! Congratulations to  Bartkewich Miniatures!

Scarlet's Little Sun

Here she is, our  BTU granddaughter, and she’s a good one.   Belle is out of our grey Lucky Hart mare, “Tallie” and it’s looks like she’s inherited her mother’s showy trot.  She is long legged, smooth bodied, with the nice neck, pretty head, and big eyes Tallie puts on all her foals.    Bloodlines include: Wittmaack’s Eclipse, Freeman’s Star, Gold Melody Boy on her dam’s side; BTU, Buckeroo and Rowdy on her sire’s side.  SOLD!  Congratulations to Bartkewich Miniatures!

Country Lane's Blue Shadow

Shadow is a 2003 AMHR gelding. 37.5"  He is sired by the Buckeroo bred stallion DBF's Blue and Gold and out of  Lucky Hart's Tallahassee Lassie (Wittmaack's Eclipse, Freeman's Star breeding).  Shadow has an absolutely wonderful disposition and would make a lovely family horse for someone; he'll be tall enough to be ridden by small children, and he should be suitable for CDE or country pleasure if you want to show him.  We are just starting Shadow on ground work--he's proving to be a willing learner & a talented mover!     Sold! Congratulations to Tamara Taylor of Alberta!  Albertans--are you ready for Shadow??
